OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operational Management, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

Supply Chain

Locations: Moorpark, CA, Simsbury, CT, St. Charles, MO, and Aurora, MO

Interns will work within our Supply Chain team in support of all aspects of procurement including quotation, inventory, and market trend analysis. Interns will have an opportunity to learn and support lean manufacturing standards including process flow, kaizen, and Six Sigma techniques. Work will include data collection and interpretation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, and process defect identification and reduction.

Qualified candidates will be self-starters who can work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for quality and documentation is a must in all internship positions. These positions will require the ability to communicate effectively across a variety of departments.

Manufacturing Operations

Locations: Pasadena, CA, Moorpark, CA, Longmont, CO, Simsbury, CT, Graham, KY, and Aurora, MO

Interns will work within our Manufacturing Operations in support of all aspects of product engineering including continuous improvement activities including development of Standard Work packages, lean cell conversion, and statistical process control implementation. Interns will have an opportunity to learn and support standard operating procedures and documentation, manufacturing cell design as well as support new product development and failure investigations.

The primary responsibility of this position will be supporting lean manufacturing practices, value stream mapping, time studies and continuous improvement activities. These positions will report to an Operations or Quality Manager.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

Locations: Moorpark, CA, Simsbury, CT, Graham, KY, and Aurora, MO

Interns will work within our Continuous Improvement or Quality teams in support of all aspects of manufacturing. Interns will have an opportunity to learn and support lean manufacturing standards including process flow, kaizen, and Six Sigma techniques.
