Position Title		Program Manager   (Req #838)

Responsibilities		Plan, manage and report on customer funded as well as company funded work while being the primary and accountable point of contact for external customers relative to overall performance on their programs. The PM acts as team leader of each cross-functional project team assigned to his/her segment. In carrying out this role, the PM ensures that the customer's requirements are understood and met and that optimal balance between requirement compliance and EBA&D profitability is achieved now and for the future. The PM is responsible for managing bookings, revenue and operating capital goals for his/her assigned programs. The PM provides input to the company's strategic planning process in the form of recommended new business pursuits, R&D projects, or capability expansion. The PM supports and in some cases leads the bid & proposal activities toward capture of new programs.
Requirements		BS Engineering or similar technical degree is required with 1-5 years Program Management experience in the Aerospace/Defense field desirable. Knowledge of the Government contracting process and work experience in the project or program management of Government contracts is preferred. The candidate should be experienced in working through complex program issues with both technical and cost implications with customers. It is desirable the candidate will also have working experience in deriving, presenting, selling ideas and program solutions to customers.
