Position Title		Quality Engineer   (Req #832)

Responsibilities		Defines the methods and documentation to be planned and prepared in meeting program and product quality requirements. Provides quality engineering input from bid & proposal through design, development, and production phases. Responsibilities also include the analysis of product defect data, including root-cause analysis, toward the development of corrective and preventive action, and product/process improvements. Direct engagement with customer and government quality representatives and with suppliers toward the resolution of product quality issues is required. A leading role will be assumed during customer-quality audits.
Requirements		A bachelor level degree with a concentration in a technical discipline or equivalent background with at least 5 years experience in a Quality Engineering role. A sound, demonstrated understanding of AS9100 and related quality management systems is expected, as well as experience in the application of Lean/Six-Sigma continual improvement methodologies and tools.
