Position Title		Manufacturing Engineer   (Req #831)

Responsibilities		Specify, document and implement capable, safe and ergonomically sound fabrication and assembly processes and related equipment. Support producer driven continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost savings, improved safety and reduction of defects. Influence product designs for manufacturability. Solve manufacturing problems, identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements		Minimum BSME with 3-5 years of increasing responsibility in a manufacturing engineering role. Self starter with an ability to work in a dynamic team based work environment with rapidly changing priorities. Demonstrated planning and organizational skills with ability to set priorities. Familiarity with pneumatics and automated or semi-automated assembly processes. Training or experience with use of lean/six sigma tools for waste reduction and improved process capability and experience with machining processes (especially CNC screw machining) is a plus.
