Position Title		Materials Manager   (Req #821)

Description		N/A
Responsibilities		Manage, lead and continually improve Material/Logistics activiities. This includes responsibility for developing, maintaining and improving relationships with, and performance of, EBA&D's supplier base; monitoring and contiually improviding the effectiveness with which eBA&D schedules its manufacturing work and does business with suppliers (from concept development through final deliver of production hardware); monitoring and continually improving with Engineering, the material definition and release fprocess; managing, leading and developing Buyer/Planner, Supplier quality Assurance, and material Control personnel to achieve the above and continually improve activities and procedures through application of LEAN concepts; chairing the supplier business improvement committee and participating as a member of the MRT. Work cloesly with all departments to support and advance the ability of EBA&D to develop and deliver products to customers on time, on quality and on cost.
Requirements		Minimum of a bachelor's degree and fifteen years of related business experience. Knowledge of DOT, ATF, DoD and OSHA regulatory requirements relative to this field. The successful candidate must be or become a LEAN practitioner.
